The hill remains the same Where we had our picnics Where we shared our laughs Where we shared our memories The beach remains the same Where we swam near the shore Where we buried ourselves in the sand Where we shared our time together The cave remains the same Where we read the books we brought Where we decorated the insides Where we shared our knowledge together I loved it all The happiness that was shared The time that we spent Will I treasure forever And now, we are all grown-ups With no time to spend And no time to waste But the memories within still linger
