parallel lines
Two lines we were, crossed by chance— and by fate, never again. Letting go is courage; I signed. Courage is pain. My heart aches seeing him in his belongings. This flash of mine stops to breathe. I cried with no tears, I screamed that no one hears, I felt pain with no visible wounds. My soul died—my body won’t. I miss him, and my ego don’t. Desperately, I want him back Sarcastically,i used to text. There was time, Years of his attention felt immortal. There is time, The soul of him gave up on me; the heart of mine craves for him, the way no one knows. My mind, my heart— oh dear, there is no treaty. I had not many; I’ll have not any. Why’d you came? Half of my hugs, the hands held my fingers , wants to hold whole hand— not as you wanted, not as I wanted. Two lines we were, once crossed by chance— and by fate, never again. ~K
