papers with ink (part 2)
the dawn where u all watch confused as I rise from the ashes, no longer bruised, a spark in my eyes, my spirit renewed. spirit of life that has expired once now dances with fire, reborn from the wire, no longer held back by the past’s desire. past, as dark as the night sky, yet even the darkest stars fly, piercing through shadows, reaching for the sky. the sky with the stars that shined but burnt they fell, but their glow lingers, a lesson unlearned, teaching us that even in endings, we are still returned. returned to give many chances to rise once more, and break all the fences, for every fall, there's a chance to mend the cracks. but never changed, stayed the same, same faces, same mistakes yet in this cycle, I find strength to break, to finally rewrite what they thought I’d forsake. complained to these papers, when no one is around they hear my voice, in silence they’re found, holding every whisper, every word unbound. Papers that stayed quiet, that always listened; do they also suffer from the same pain perhaps they do, beneath ink-stained skin, carrying stories of loss, where silence begins. never complained, yet always loved they hold my heart, without asking for a thing.
