papers with ink (part 1)
dear pen, dear paper you hold my thoughts, my dreams, my fear you hold my tears, tears of joy and tears of sorrow whispering secrets I dare not share tomorrow when everyone left, u dint silent and steady, a comfort in the stillness of night how could paper be better than people it listens without judgment and never takes flight Papers filled with ink. Is it gonna last? Or is it gonna leave, like in the nightmares I fear? though the ink may fade, its essence stays near, etched in time, more constant than what appears. left without goodbye yet your presence lingers, like a quiet sigh. Left with a heartbreak. Is it all worth it? in the end, it's the pain that makes us strong, the journey, the lessons, where we belong. is it even worth trying again? maybe the scars will guide us through, reminding us that hope still holds something true. took the bullet for u, yet u held that gun now I'm left with a choice, to heal or run, but Iβll rise again, beneath the setting sun. ill rise again beneath the setting sun with every step, I'll leave the past undone, and find my strength where the dark meets the dawn.
