panic attack
Living normal in the moment in a switch the dread becomes potent. Clinging to the counter, staring in the mirror Quick to boil, the panic begins to simmer. Pacing back and forth, not knowing what to do; my tears are emerging. I am crying out for you. "God please, please help me. I don't know why this is happening." I jump into a cold shower; a small sense of peace starts to overpower. Naked and cold, my voice quivers, while praying, as I try to be bold. I can't stop. If I do, my chest may pop. Here I am again, pleading for your help. That peace is gone, I want it back. What is it that I lack? Seeking over and over again; I look for help within a friend. As it subsides, there are traces that linger. Only those who know, panic is a minger. Is this forever? Or can this tie be severed?
