Paint the mirrors black:
Paint the mirrors black. I don't want to see myself anymore. A true reflection is what they lack. I'm an alien in my own skin. I never felt like I truly fit in. No matter where I am. Even with my own kin. Cover the mirrors with sheets. Don't let the ghosts come back. The reflection my eye meets. Doesn't even look like me. Not the me I crave to see. They say they truly care. But how true can it be? When I'm not even sure I'm there. I'm not really me, at least not the person that you see.
