PAINt
Yesterday I painted. I painted all day there was an image stuck in my memory A man with dark eyes. I stared at the painting nothing out of the ordinary except, those eyes peering into me holding me hostage I couldn't look away They seemed so nice but there's something... something I know them eyes There's anger There's sadness There's danger I can hear his voice rattling in my brain Words that start out sweet but there's something... something I picked up a hint of deception in those words You were always so good with your words you could of been a writer You know how to make me feel lost, insane, doubtful you know how to make me feel low, unloved, empty you know how to make me lose my mind So many bad memories the pain you caused the gun that you hold send bullets that shred me It's always you the one that holds so much power you hurt people and you laugh about it Your pain has caused so many to suffer. I learned how to treat people because of you I learned how to be distant I learned how to dissociate You don't care I don't think you ever did I watch as the paint falls from the corner of his eye like a single tear How Funny painting should be dry by now.
