painful love

you say you care about me, but where are you when I need you to be? you take away my happy thoughts, replacing them with sadness and painful knots. with tears in my eyes, i start to cry, while you watch with a smile, and a twinkle in your eye. though keeping you around hurts me so, letting go would surely kill me, don't you know? so i hide my pain in these poems i write, and force a smile for your sake, day and night. — (By: yanga)
