Pain of living in memory
A distant memory arrived in a flash How it turned my smile into a frown I thought it was too far for me to catch but the eagerness to cry went and fell for it I thought I buried the memory a long time ago Why would it return now? I thought I could live in a world where the barrier between good and evil were separated I should have expected it, right? Right? I blame myself for it I should have blamed myself a long time ago Why did I let it come to this moment. I'm sorry. I should live with it as it is a part of me I should expect stuff like this I should just let it be I should expect the twist and just accept it. This the pain of living in memory
