PAIN CHANGED ME
I did not change, pain changed me Shaping my soul, like a wild sea It crashed and it roared, it tore me apart But in the depths, I found a stronger heart I did not change, fire refined me Purifying my spirit, like a burning sea It tested my will, it tried my might But in the flames, I found a guiding light I did not change, life transformed me Molding my character, through the craftsmanship of time It chiseled and it shaped, it created a new version of me And in the process, I discovered myself, too I did not change, but I've been remade By the trials and the tribulations I've faced I've been strengthened, I've been refined And though I'm different, I'm still divine.
