Pain
My suffering is overwhelming, yet I keep feeding it. A different kind of pain… a physical suffering to tell me I'm okay. Burning, piercing, cutting...they make me feel better. It might sound strange, but it’s my way. As emotions rise, my tears betray, I gasp for breath, but I’m confined In my solitude, I try…seek to find… I'm desperate for help, but all alone. Some say pain, is weakness leaving the body… so as painful as my heart hurts, hurting my body eases my painful heart. When my body has suffered, I know I’m okay. My heart numbs and its pain goes away. I would rather suffer physically… than emotionally, for my heart is always part of me A shot to the heart with words hurts worse than a blade to the thigh. So why ignore the one thing that makes my sadness subside
