oxidization
Every crumb of my past Serves as a memory to last. Like metal exposed to rust, It lingers, then crumbles to dust. It spreads through the air I breathe, Sticking to my wound and bleeds. Seeping through my scars, it creeps; I try so hard to forget, but it keeps. When unknowingly I look for you in every woman I meet, But you are just so unique. No one holds a candle to what you emit. Still, I pray it was not the last, Or else I'll continue to be obsessed with what has passed.
