“Overwhelmed by your gleam.”
My voice is shushed, a gentle breeze, Yours, powerful, towering trees. A single drop within the stream, Lost in the brilliance of your gleam. My voice, the rustling whisper of tired, browning grass, a muted sigh, Yours, a symphony of petals, a sweet and intoxicating fragrance, soaring high. Your talent shines, a brilliant star, While envy's shadow leaves its scar. This aching heart, this jealous sting, A bitter truth, it makes me sing A song of sorrow, fear, and doubt, As your bright future shines without a doubt. This gift I hold, I long to share, But doubt and worry fill the air. The thought of failure, sharp and keen, Leaves me defeated, lost, unseen.
