The hardest battle I've fought was the one between my thoughts The most worthy opponent, the battle between man vs it's mind The loudest thought, the voice within It had an insatiable appetite, preying on my ambition and drive Needlessly beating me up, though it wasn't a fist fight. It was merciless and though it had no mouth is had the loudest voice, telling me what I can do and what I cannot I must say it managed to convince me countless times, that I am in lack, but I recognized that it was just afraid and I've had to replace the fear felt with lone fact It meant no harm but it did inflicted pain in trying to protect me, not Knowing that it is through diving into the deep that would build me. As such, I had to reassure it and made it believe it's okay to be scared All of the changes where made when I stopped viewing it as the enemy. It was just doing its job and that was to protect me, but what it didn't know was that in trying to protect me, it was stiffening me All the clarity came after I stopped viewing my thoughts as the enemy. I now watch my thoughts without bounds and attachment, but the hardest battle I've ever fought of all time, my most worthy opponent, was the battle between man vs it's mind
