overcomed
each morning I fought demons Whispering lies of how I am not good enough that I am broken and I will not make it their claws shimmering with anxiety buried deep inside my skin your own voice the loudest in the room echoing doubts and dreams it is in my hands building and breaking the bridges to my soul it's the war inside my heart where every victory and every scar is mine alone in this fight against myself I am my own enemy, and my only savior if not Christ the stars are witnesses to my minds relentless races Laps around a track that never ends. and yet, here I stand still breathing, still fighting turning overthinking and pain into a sword Sharper than the words they say.
