Outside my Walls
I wear a mask just to see the world, But this feeling of mine is getting old. Repeating the same rule over and over, followed every step through thin ice closer. What fun is there to see?, Not a single thing is my cup of tea. This void is my only home, My gentle melody a part of my bone. Should I walk through fire, will it burn or will it take me higher. The other side seems bright, My curiosity wanting to fight. I took a step to this burning flame, It felt warm unknowingly sane. Much better than my place, Its loud and fun oh full of grace. I didn't expect my silent voice was heard I couldn't be more grateful thank you for sharing your world. I will treasure this gift oh precious friends, I'll bury this inside my heart till it ends.
