Outside My Body
Lip stain smeared over her ivory skin Moon glow smooth upon her ebony locks Spilling whine across her chest; bitter sin Older days spent swinging her legs on docks Masqueraded innocence; guilty pools slow As clotting blood of all our broken flight She's dancing with the raindrops; let's wind blow Was twilight, hanging in the dead of night Someone once told me the things she can be She shoves pill down her throat, shards of cracked glass What is she to do with what she can't flee Such a devil, mind infected; crass Lovely girl will you shatter that halo? For her, only her, I would go so low
