out of league
In vast expanses, your glory cries resound, They stood in awe, as you wore the crown. Can I match your pace, in swift embrace, Or forever chase, without a trace? Yet you claim my thoughts ascend on high, Beyond your grasp, they seem to fly. You plead, just once, for a downward glance, To meet your gaze in a fleeting chance. Why were our eyes shrouded in night, As you stood close, within sight? Gazing upwards, lost in the blue, Never seeing, you were beside me too.
