Our memories
When I see you, the memories come flooding back — once filled with happiness, now replaced by pain. Every time I see you happily talking with others, I can't help but wonder if you were that happy when we were together. But those are just old memories now, etched in my heart and mind, that no matter what I do, I can never go back to. The day I confessed my feelings, you doubted me — as if you thought I was just playing with you. It hurt me when you couldn't even tell me directly how you felt, and instead, you told my friend that we didn’t share the same feelings. Back when we had classes together, we ignored each other. And during that one study session, you left our seat without saying anything, leaving me wondering where you went. When I followed you with my eyes, I saw you sit beside someone else, happily talking. I waited, hoping you'd come back so we could talk again. But I was wrong. You were happier with someone else — you two were close, like how we used to be. But that was before, and it’s no longer the case now. Maybe it’s time to give up and leave your painful world behind, and create a new story — one whose title is no longer “you and me.”
