Our eyes
I've always had strong emotions Love being my strongest I had high empathy, a "Golden heart" I've always wished for romance Love was my strongest emotion I felt it for the small things, big things And even though it made times hard I always promised myself to let me love I loved people who didn't feel the same They said they did but I'd watch their eyes, They didn't light up They didn't have an expression There was no spark to meet with mine to create real love Though I let myself love Knowing my spark for them would also fade It wasn't true love, I knew that But why hurt myself while I still felt it I let my sparks burn out, they never had one to light up with mine so it would happen anyway With you I felt my eyes light up I pushed it off I hadn't seen yours closely yet Once I got a good view, I saw there was a spark in yours too You would say "I love you" and it grew This wasn't a lie I could feel my spark heat up with your presence This was love The thing I wished for, I found Your eyes had light Your eyes had expressions Our eyes created true love
