Other Worldly
I exist differently. I mean this in the sense that compared to other people, my existence is lectured far too often. An example would be my daily life, I'm criticized for the simplest of things, most out of my control. I remember being ashamed of the scars I have. A set of scars in particular was gifted to me by a girl nobody necessarily likes. I've lived with them for nearly a year and yet people just now seem to pay attention. I exist differently in the sense that I'm practically invisible. I know many feel this way but many are not forgotten nearly every morning. Many are not dismissed so easily by everyone they see. I exist differently in the sense that I'm just a name on paper. Somebody will call for me but never really acknowledge that I'm present. It's as if they know someone is there but fail to recognize who or where they are. I dream of a world where one day I will exist in regular fashion. I'll acknowledged, I'll be seen. I dream of a world where I'm more than the name on some discarded paper but instead, someone who people can easily place. I dream of a world where instead of being dismissed, I'll be seen the same way as everyone else. I'll be whole again.. I'll be whole again.
