Oneself
Sometimes I ponder the meaning of life Why I'm here and why I'm alive The purpose of every effort and every strife And what my goal is that I'm supposed to strive Everyone asks you to feel and to care I try so hard to be there for every day Yet sometimes I feel nothing at all as if emotions are on a snare And still I must always find a way They call you weak when you ask for help Then call you a sinner when you can't take anymore Mocking and belittling over every cry and welp Yet when you're gone your very memory is an eyesore Am I wrong for being myself Or am I lost and forgotten like many more than just oneself
