One With The Universe
If only now you took all of me, and left nothing of my body to be mourned or missed. Or to be wrapped in linen and thrown overboard, perhaps to wash up on some distant shore. I don't mind. But take my soul, my spark that is my humanity, and return me to the infinite light of the universe. Let me appear where you would have me placed. Let me not know my direction to my former home so as to let me lose myself in the vastness of all creation. Absolve my wickedness; these vestiges of taint left of my physical body, so that my soul shall soar free. Purify my will so that my intentions would be to do no harm and to present love to all those in my presence. Let me be pure in thought and emotion. Let me be absorbed into the cosmos so that I, a child of the universe, will become, once again, one with the stars. May it be done.
