one of those nights
It's just another one of those nights Where I stayed up late To talk to God for I no longer see his light I cry myself to sleep, my pillow already soaking I still wish you were near to comfort me to whipe my tear so I wouldn't have to myself I want you back into my life even though you don't deserve to be part of it I'm questioning whether it's my fault or not Because it's damaging my mental health I face the window to hide and let my soul rot Stop crying when someone enters the room I don't want them to see that I'm weak When I'm spoken to I clear the pain in my voice and pretend I'm just tired because I am, tired of breaking inside
