ONE OF THIS QUIET NIGHTS
the world seemed to slow down just for us the air carrying gentle warm that made, everything feel so possible you stood close to me not saying much but your presence spoke louder than any words your forehead touched mine first your nose brushing against my skin, every touch felt electric and tender and your fingers brushed against my waist gently reminding my body it belonged to you when we got closer our bodies fit together like they were designed to find each other I looked at you and, the way you looked back at me all that made my breath catch your hand found mine slowly and intentionally as if reminding me I belong there my heart raced and all you did made me calm when you pulled me a little closer my heart didn't just beat but, it whispered your name with every rhythm your tenderness truly owns my heart when I look at you I see answered prayers not loud not rushed but just two hearts choosing each other in the softest most powerful way and the rest following without struggle until the bed stops complaining Maajah Poetry
