One More Day
Waking with a broken heart is a gift with limitless return. Whether it’s a family member or past romantic love. The moments that were shared, made amazing by the presence of their sweetest heart, fully engaged and invested in that moment. It burns inside your mind to reassure your heart, that what you felt is so very real, couldn’t help but truly feel. The ache, the pain, the thoughts you try to refrain. Engrossing all you attention to boring daily tasks, anything at all just to help it pass. Every now and then nothing seems to work, you pray and ask for god to take it away, as he gently reminds you that feeling is your grand design. With this shield you understand that life is to be lived, not only in success but, through failure too, that seems to be the price merciful god asked of you. Although, the journey has taken an awful turn. All you can do is ride the wave, at the mercy of time and unseen clarity. Lessons will be learned, earned, or realized. It’s only a matter of time, as you find yourself in a better frame of mind. Knowing in the end that they were really heaven sent, not wasting one more moment living with regret. If I gave my time to you, it came straight from my heart, that will always true
