one day
One day, we'll feel safe, One day, we'll be welcomed, One day, we'll be us. Right? Well, I say that we don't wait, We get up and we find our home, Whether that be a person or a place, A book or a safe. And we were taught "weapons against our homes will prevail, But weapons against us will fail" But if a home is really a home, it will never fall, even if broken. So I say, we don't wait for this one day, We don't just wait for the war on our hearts to end We get up and we grab our swords, Whether that be a book, a knife, a pen and paper, Pick up your sword and fight, not just to fight the war in your heart, But to build that home.
