Once Upon A Time I opened up my phone one day And I saw a message It said a simple "Hi" But somehow caught my wandering eye It was from a friend of mine I answered back and said "Hey" She asked me How I'd rate her face I gave her a six But I guess that was it for the day As days went by, We talked a lot Some days were long Some days were short But we couldn't stop Our conversations were like songs Then one time Without a warning Without a sign She found a place in my mind And I found a place in hers Each night I'd lie on my bed And wonder, Think And Ask Why talking to her felt like the best? Things started to change over time Then one evening.... Around half past 4 I heard a knock on my door Thought it was my mom But it was someone... Someone I hadn't seen before Or maybe I have But that was a long ago It was Love And he wasn't Gen z Love He wasn't even unrequited love Nor was he fake love But he was real love My eyes stretched open when I saw him I asked him How did u get here He said "Two truths one lie" I understood and welcomed him Things started off good Me and her had a good time We laughed together We spent sometime online We sang songs We even play games midnight We had our moments
