On the Mainstream
On the mainstream, I followed waves, they promised me, love and laughter and passion. On the mainstream, I got hurt, burned and thrashed and left to die. On the mainstream, my cries were silenced. I tried to keep it quiet, tell it that it didn't matter. On the mainstream I bursted. But it was too late, the waves had gone without me, left me with nothing but ash, and in the ash I try to write, all I could've had, all the pain I bare, but the ash gets blown away, and I'm left to die. On the mainstream, I died.
