Oleandar (Part 2 of 2)
(Continued from Part 1) Some nourishment for flowers but poisonous to you? But then, you have your leaves. And in a tea, you are poison too. Or, are you too warm? Yet, I'm told you love the heat And you thrive in almost any place. The bees regard you with esteem and visit everyday to keep your blossoms flourishing in this peaceful garden space. You sweeten up the ambience in your oleandar way. I'm glad you're here, my trusty friend. You bring so much to our happy scene. You're with us throughout the year, and because you're evergreen, we can always count on you to be so ever near. I will always care for you, and keep you very close. Since I first set you my garden, I'm glad it's you I chose.
