Oh Yah My Home Is You
I yearn to run to You, to flee the world’s relentless tide, To hide within the sanctuary of Your endless grace. My home is You, a refuge wrought from love’s own hand, Open Your arms, O Yah, and welcome me with gentle embrace. Hold me, shield me beneath the wings of Your protection, A canopy of mercy, vast as the heavens’ vaulted dome. I lift my eyes, I pour my tears before Your throne, Crying, “Have mercy, Lord, for I am weary and alone.” Your compassion, a river that never ceases to flow, Washes over my bruised spirit, renewing every breath. In Your shelter I find hope, a steadfast anchor, My everything—my pulse, my purpose, my depth. I desire to walk beside You, step by step, in holy rhythm, To dwell within Your presence, a sanctuary of peace. Take me into Your arms, cradle me with warmth unending, Keep me safe, keep me warm, as a child in a mother’s lease. You are my Savior, my Protector, the lighthouse in night’s storm, Guiding me through shadows, turning darkness into day. With each heartbeat, I whisper, “Oh Yah, my home is You,” And in that sacred bond, my soul forever will stay.
