Oh how I've learned
I've learned, oh how I have learned Walked down a few bridges and watched as they burned I've taken life's lessons and failed a few courses Given my heart out to a few poor choices I've been beaten and held to the ground Me and toxicity have shared a few rounds I've told my own fair share of lies Been the cause of a few tears in others eyes I've loved as hard as one can love I've failed myself when push came to shove Got lost a time or two Said goodbye to everyone I knew I've learned, oh how I have learned I've taken life's beatings at every turn Abandonment issues, fears of being alone Yet through traumas trenches, still I have grown I keep going, I'll never back down I forgave myself, for my choices were sound I've learned, oh how I have learned To let go of all things for years I had yearned I can be strong and still feel I can be broken and still heal I can get lost and still try Resilient women are allowed to cry I've learned, oh how I've learned
