Off my chest
Did you ever love me? You pretend to enjoy my company, To me your voice was a harmony, What was I to you?, I ask this every day, I ask this when I wake up, Before I try sleep, Tossing and turning in a bed that you made, A bed filled with nails and broken glass, You loved me I tell myself, I tell myself that it just didn't work out, But you know the truth, You know that you didn't love me, You know that you never could have, I belived the lies I told myself, I let myself get manipulated, I let you in to the control room, You could never love me, I know that now, When you were laying with him, I didn't exist, How does that work, I showed you every ounce of love I could, You had all of my heart, You wanted none of it, So now it's broken and even I can't give myself a fraction of it, Thank you for teaching me that no one is worth trusting.
