Ode To The Ode

Hey there little ode No bigger'n a node All fulla' praise And rhyming with toad. I've written sooooooo many odes To a something or other So I thought it was time To write me another I thought it was time So this ode's for you I know it ain't much But it's the best I can do This here's just an ode 'Bout not much at all Just a poem to your story So modest and small But if you give me some time When I learn how to write I'll write you a great one You'll be bigger'n night You'll be very int'restin' And have lots of color Not like this one That couldn't be duller You'll shine like the sun When I learn what to say When I become a good writer And write a real ode someday pogo
