Ode to loneliness
"Loneliness" what an aesthetic word You are with yourself You are your worst enemy And..... Don't you dare to expect Expect some helping hand Hand that is waiting for you You will be strangled in, Those old yet green veins, Veins that smells like muddy hatred And guess what You will be alone in, That out of self-canabelism How long it has been Days, week, months....a year Since you truly laughed How many Saturdays, Has passed Till you became sick, Sick of seeing same faces everyday I know, I know You are afraid Afraid of being with yourself I know, I know You ignores the mirrors You don't front camera, Of your old phone And in some million chances Someone tried to Tried to look at you Look at way you don't see You become frightened That they too will, Eat the life out of you And oneday will Will utter while fading away "We are good friends, aren't we?" .... No, we are not Never were 3am thoughts of death Terrifies you that What you call "family" Maybe they too, They too will become An empty shell of Cooked and loosened muscles And you know, What loved you once Kissed you once Patted your head twice Is gone Guess what you don't cry
