Ode To A Hummingbird (P2 of 2)
(continued from part 1) You have never stopped to sing, (I've been told you sometimes do.) I often heard your humming wings in early morning as you flew. Ah, you tiny-feathered jewel, won't you pause along your wending way, and with me spend some little time in our early hours? Me, I am content to tend my garden beds today. Perhaps you'll take some sustenance from the flowers. And still, you can pretend, you're just passing through. -The End-
