October 31st
On this eve, a night of mystery unveiled, Where shadows dance with flickering flames, A symphony of whispers fills the air, As darkness descends, it begins a haunting affair. Ghosts and ghouls emerge from the depths, Their ethereal presence, a chilling breath, The moon, a pale guide in the starlit sky, Casting its glow as spirits fly high. Beneath the cloak of a witching hour, A symphony of laughter and fright ensues, Children adorned in costumes of disguise, Seeking treats, a sweet indulgent prize. Jack-o'-lanterns carved with wicked grins, Illuminating paths where mischief begins, Crisp leaves rustle in the autumn breeze, Whispering secrets of forgotten trees, A tapestry of colors, vibrant and bold, Nature's farewell before the winter's cold. A ghostly tale whispered by the fire's glow, Of a restless spirit, forever in woe, Legends of witches, brews, and spells, A bewitching night where enchantment dwells. October 31st, a night to embrace, The mystical wonders of this haunted space, Where reality and fantasy intertwine, A moment suspended, frozen in time. As the clock strikes midnight's refrain, This enchanted eve begins to wane, Yet the memories linger, a ghostly trace, Until October again we embrace.
