Nowhere To Fall
No place to land, no place to break, no arms to hold the fear I fake. No wall to lean on, soft or kind— just empty rooms and louder minds. The walls that should have kept me whole, just echo back and crush my soul. The doors that should have set me free, swing closed and turn the lock on me. I wear a mask to hide the ache, I smile and laugh until I break. Because to fall would call out shame— and every tear would feed the flame. There's nowhere safe to sleep or breathe, no space to hope, no way to leave. I carry storms inside my skin, too scared to fall, too trapped to win.
