November rain
The leaves fall without noise, a leaden sky holds the sun. I look at you but time slips on us, like the rain that drowns our remorse. We danced through fire and storm, believing that love was enough for itself. But also dreams, if clenched in the fist, they melt slowly, they break at the bottom. And now November calls us by name, between deserted streets and old songs. Maybe love can't last, if the heart is afraid of shipwreck. But when the rain stops falling, maybe, one day, I will be able to let you go.
