Noticed.
Him. You — a wonderful person, full of surprises and quiet promises. They speak of you so proudly, a blessing, a present son. Me. Just trying to survive, trying new things to feel alive. You slipped a ring around my heart, and somehow made my smile restart. You noticed me when no one did. Our hearts beat softly, never rushed. Our eyes had said more than enough, but giving more attention felt too rough. You make me doubt in different ways, like sunlight burning in shifting rays. So obvious — yet we deny as long as we can let it lie. We see ourselves in the lake’s reflection, close, yet blurred by hesitation. Different paths have pulled us far — two bright lights, distant stars.
