Nothing came of it
I thought I’d live a little longer, just until I earned something, anything!! that could make them remember me without listing my failures. I lived. That’s all. I didn’t move forward, didn’t grow into a name worth saying, just watched days rot quietly while I stood inside them. I tried to want to try. I just didn’t know how, how to move with hands that kept shaking. Now I look back and all I see is someone who survived, and somehow an even bigger failure for it.
