nothing
A name and face not to be remembered. Nothing and no one to call my own. Nowhere to belong and not a single memory to carry on once all this is dead and gone. Just a shadow caught out in the light... and a soul with no more will left to fight. Just a life that is a void. Empty... left longing for something, anything. Good, bad, amazing, tragic... it does not matter just as long as it fills this shell. Even the terrible would leave some trace, some Thing to embrace. But no. You can not embrace the vacuum. Day after day, year after year... nothing. It is all and everything that this life has to offer. There is nothing more that I could have ever been, but the nothing that I am. nothing.
