Note over Vote
In a land where democracy breathes, Where voices rise above the silent seas, One vote, one voice, a power so grand, Yet some choose to bury their head in the sand. With each ballot cast, a story unfolds, Of courage and sacrifice in tales untold, But there are those who turn away, From the responsibility that comes their way. Do they not see the blood that was shed, For the right to choose, for freedom's thread? Do they not feel the weight of the past, When our voices were silenced, freedom didn't last? We point fingers at those in power, Yet some among us cower, Afraid to stand up and be counted, Their voices lost, their impact discounted. But is it not a duty we must uphold, To safeguard the future, to be bold? To honor those who fought for this right, To let our voices soar, to shine bright. So let us not forget the price that was paid, For the right to vote, for choices made. Let us not squander this gift we've been given, Let us rise up, let our voices be driven. For in the silence of a missing vote, A part of our democracy is smote. So stand up, speak out, let your voice be heard, For in unity lies the power of a single word.
