Not so different you and I.
I looked the wolf in its eyes, yellow and glowing with a sense of the same fear I felt in that moment. It didn't move, neither did I, I felt as if we both were to afraid of the other. "Dear wolf, Why do you hunt us?" It growled, "You are the ones whom hunt us, for trying to live" I pointed my gun at the wolf "You kill, you deserve to be hunted" It only took a step back, keeping its eyes on me at all times. "We do what we have to; To survive, if it's ok for you to do it; Why can't it be alright for me? Truly what is the difference? You humans choose to live out your days hunting, in cold blood to live, You are providers, as am I-" I reload my gun, ready to take the shot. "You only want to live; As do I, is it really so monstrous to fear death?" I lowered my gun, and stared at those same yellow eyes, and for one I didn't see a predator, but a survivor. I watched as the Wolf turned to the forest "We're not so different, You and I" It was gone.
