Not just Once but Twice
I still remember the memories that we had shared The laughs that we shared The smile that we shared The time that we've spent together The places we went together The stories that we shared even the sacred secrets that no one knows except us But now those, that once brought a never ending smile to my face and a flutter to my heart has now been gone, The smile has now been replaced with a frown, the fluttering that my heart had has now replaced with an ache that I myself can't even explain The broken promises that you've given me the first time, I forgave you But sadly, now I can't , I can't forgive you for what you've done to me, Others may think I'm cruel but they don't know how it feels, How it feels to be given hundreds of broken promises and empty words that you said you'll keep, but yet look now, not even one of those you've kept and came true Memories that we've once shared , Memories that I have about us now hurts to remember, The places we went, that I always pass by hurts me and brings sadness to me The promises I'm afraid of and words that said to be kept pains me The heart to you promised to never break and hurt has been hurt and broken not just once but twice by you
