Everything has a price to pay, The storm has come and won’t delay. Every road feels hard to keep, Someone’s lost, in need so deep. Giving my best was not enough, Some paths in life are far too rough. I plead, I try, yet still, I see, Not everyone finds peace in me. Reflections hiding in their eyes, Not everyone can sympathize. So tired, yet words still sting, Breaking hearts with what they bring.
