Not as simple

It was one simple text That created something not as simple There's no way to describe my feelings for you But the word love is as close as I can So I'll continue to say I love you though it can never describe how I feel for you I could say you've healed me but you've done much more then that I'll never be perfect but you make me feel as though I already am You make me feel whole again, though I'll never fully be You make me feel as if those cracks aren't to be ashamed of but they're more of a warriors scar You make me feel safe, as most people do but you make it clear you're there you're really not going to leave You're there for me, and many people say they are but your the one person who's proved it And I've given you my heart I know you're going to keep it safe, you're already putting it back to together So for that it'll stay yours, always and forever You're my one true love and my heart is now yours Most people say "I love you to the moon and back" But I love you way more then that So until they create a word to describe how I feel I'll continue to say "I love you" and hope you know it's real
