(not) A poem
Ever since I remember I've always wished with finding my place Back then I created worlds Sometimes I was alone Sometimes someone would join And that was my place And the trees were my godparents And the sun was warm like a womb And the wind knew my name And I swear I knew my place Even if it was far away Now I take tests To try to understand myself And my roots are malnourished And I create, but I can't reach anymore And now the trees are my judges And the sun is a forgotten uterus And the wind pushes me towards a cliff I have no place Once I was a queen A heir A warlock Even a CEO But I wasn't powerful enough to bring myself and my world to this sinful land When I was 10 I read about the Grey Gentlemen And they frightened me And their world And fuck off I became them and I didn't even know
