You were my home, you were my heart until life came and tore us apart. Your laughter lit up the room- it's heartbreaking you left so soon. You created a life to live forever and one day we'll be together. You created memories to cherish and hold, I'll miss your wisdoms and warm hugs from the cold. You were kind, loving and always cared- I'm thankful for love we have shared. You said that this day will come and it will be tough, you believed I'd be strong. You told me you would remain close, to think now it hurts the most. For love endures, it's a forever thing only now you have grown angel wings. You left us with a beautiful truth to embrace and through this understanding our pain will find grace. Your love for us was always clear, your spirit remains close and near.
