Noise
I talk, that's no unknown fact I mell I tell I yell Yet no amount of begging for help seems to ring a bell I go around life, telling stories, poems and novels But not once do they seem to stick around No matter how loud my voice is, my words seem to stay hollow Like my soul is shallow I try my best to help, I really do But it's as if the words stick to my throat And if I do speak, it seems my words can only be compared to a goat Cause how can a human sound so loud yet so unimportant? That's what they think But they would never say it to my face Cause they know, unlike them I remember I feel Words in my brain don't peel They stay, rotting for years to come That damage cannot be undone I've learned to live like this To embrace it even That no amount of my effort will make my voice more important than radio static That my voice Will always just be noise
